Embroidery Tip: How to keep a knot free back
When you've reached the end of your thread, weave the end back into the embroidery, and the back of your patch won't have any knots. You don't have to do this, but it does look really nice.
Look at all of those gorgeous satin stitches!
Now for the text
A few chain stitches, and now we are ready to get rid of the sticky back.
It's as easy as a quick rinse under warm water
You can scrub lightly with your fingers to remove any stubborn pieces.
Now, let your patch air dry for a few hours.
And Cut! (Carefully)
Trim around the heart, leaving a felt border around the outside.
Now, stitch it to your favorite jacket or tote bag.
