Threading those little eyes of the needle can be so hard, and the threaders break so quickly.
This needle threader is made for threading embroidery needles, and will also work for most sashiko needles. Poke the front through the eye of the needle, poke the thread through the larger threader opening, and then pull through the eye!
Easy and much more durable than the traditional wire needle threaders, this one shouldn't break quite so easily.
