Sashiko Style Mending Workshop
Location: The Chipper Bird 1319 Cornwall Ave #101, Downtown Bellingham
When: Saturday, February 22, 1:30-4:00 -OR- Saturday, March 28, 1:30-4:00
What: In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of sashiko, a Japanese style of stitching, by creating your own sashiko style denim patch. A great class for beginners and seasoned stitchers alike, this workshop combines elements of texture, color and function to create your own one of a kind patch, or denim visible mending project. All materials are provided by the instructor, bring a pair of torn jeans if you have them.
What to bring: A pair of jeans that needs mending (or just make a patch if you don't have anything to mend!).
Workshop Fees are refundable up to 48 hours before.
Workshop fees include all of the mending supplies you'll need to get started.
